About Us

Canberra Christian Conventions oversees the provision of regional Bible teaching conventions. This includes events like the Canberra Men’s Christian Convention, the Canberra Women’s Christian Convention and the Requip Training Days. These Conventions and Training Days are coordinated and led by teams of men and women from a number of Canberra churches. The teams are non-denominational and designed to support the existing ministries of churches and Christian organizations in our region. We regularly have people travelling from the Riverina, South Coast, Southern Tablelands and other areas. We don’t do a lot of advertising and rely significantly on the recommendations of those who have been before. So please put in a good word, encourage your churches, leaders and ministry teams to take advantage of what’s on offer. The reason we do all this, is because we are keen to bring glory to God. We believe we do that best in the building of His church, through the proclamation of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching of the Bible. Our desire is to build-up God’s people and to encourage them to persevere in serving God and others.
